A plain 33 cm strip that is screwed above the worktop or the workbench. The knives hang openly and within reach – instead of stacked in a drawer.
What the strip holds – and what it doesn't +
The strip is intended for kitchen knives, scissors and small tools. Very heavy blades such as large cleavers can weigh more than the strip safely holds – check this the first time you hang one, by letting go only briefly. Not every blade is magnetic: ceramic knives do not cling at all, and some stainless steel grades cling more weakly than others. Wipe clean with a damp cloth.
