In three steps
It's that simple
Set down and hold
Place the sharpener on a flat surface and hold it by the handle with one hand.
Pull the blade through
Place the blade upright in the slot and pull it towards you three to four times – always in the same direction.
From coarse to fine
Sharpen blunt knives in the coarse stage first, then in the fine stage, and finish in the ceramic stage.
Why this sharpener
Sharp knives without the effort
Three stages in one tool
The coarse stage brings the edge back into shape, the fine stage smooths it, the ceramic stage hones it.
Steady in the hand
The curved handle holds the sharpener on the worktop – your hand stays on the handle, away from the slot.
Easy to clean
The sharpening insert can be removed, so you rinse out the grinding dust instead of collecting it in the housing.
The difference
Sharp, without practice.
Honing steel or whetstone
- You hold the sharpening angle by hand
- Takes practice and time
- Water stones need water and space
- Too fiddly for a quick touch-up
Knife sharpener with handle
- The slots guide the blade
- Three to four pulls are enough
- Three stages from coarse to fine
- Compact, sharpening insert removable for cleaning
