An adjustable nylon collar with a light strip worked into the band. The button on the band switches between steady light, fast flash and slow flash. It closes like an ordinary collar with the buckle and is adjusted to the neck with the length adjuster.
Before first use and in everyday use +
On delivery a thin plastic film sits under the button so that the light does not come on in transit. Pull the film out and the button will work. The CR2032 button cells of the battery version can be replaced and are available in any supermarket; the USB version is charged with the cable supplied. Measure the neck circumference with a tape measure before choosing a size – the circumferences are listed in the table above.

Pull out the film
On delivery a protective film sits under the button. Pull it out once and the collar is ready to use.
Put it on and adjust it
Close the buckle and adjust the length at the adjuster until two fingers fit between the band and the neck.
Choose the light mode
The button switches in turn through steady light, fast flash, slow flash and off.
Why this collar
Be seen, not just lit up
Visible from a distance
The light strip runs the whole length of the band and shines by itself instead of merely reflecting light back like a reflective strip. It needs no outside light source.
Three modes for three situations
Steady light for the quiet field path, flashing where cars are driving – slow flashing also saves running time.
Still an ordinary collar
Buckle, length adjuster and D-ring sit where you expect them. The lead goes on the same ring as before.

Reflective strip or flashing tag
- Reflectors only light up when a headlight hits them
- Without a car or a torch the dog stays dark
- A tag dangles and shows only a single point
